Welcome to Slovo ("the App"). By using this application within Telegram, you agree to the following terms regarding your data, privacy, and usage rights.
1. Data Collection & Usage
We believe in data minimalism. We only collect what is strictly necessary for the App to function.
1.1 Telegram Profile Data
When you launch the App, we receive basic public information from Telegram:
- User ID (unique numeric identifier).
- First Name & Username (for display purposes).
- Profile Photo URL.
1.2 Learning Data
To provide the service, we store:
- Your vocabulary progress (words learned, repetition intervals).
- In-game currency balance and inventory items.
- Achievements and streaks.
- Technical logs (IP address) for security and rate-limiting purposes.
1.3 AI Interactions
The App uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate explanations. When you request a word breakdown, the specific word and its context are sent to our AI provider (DeepSeek). These requests are anonymized and do not contain your personal Telegram ID or payment information.
2. User Rights & Data Deletion
You have full control over your data.
- Right to Delete: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. Go to Profile > Security & Data inside the app and tap "Delete Account". This action is instant and irreversible.
- Right to Reset: You can reset your learning progress without deleting your account via the same menu.
3. Payments & Refunds (Telegram Stars)
Premium features and digital goods are purchased using Telegram Stars.
- Processing: All financial transactions are handled exclusively by Telegram. We do not see, store, or have access to your credit card details or bank information.
- Finality: Purchases of digital goods (Premium subscriptions, in-game currency) are final.
- Refunds: Refunds are subject to Telegram's platform policies. Since the App provides immediate access to digital content, we generally do not offer refunds once the service has been delivered, unless required by local law.
- Delivery: Premium features are activated immediately upon successful confirmation from the Telegram payment API.
4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
4.1 AI Content Accuracy
Educational content generated by AI is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, AI models can hallucinate or produce incorrect linguistic data. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of definitions, translations, or cultural notes and accept no liability for errors in the learning material.
4.2 Service Availability
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by:
- Telegram platform outages.
- Third-party API failures (e.g., DeepSeek AI).
- Network issues on the user's end.
4.3 Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Slovo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
